Fred Parker, III, earned his wings on December 15, 2018 surrounded by his family and loved ones. Fred was born on November 7, 1953, the second child of Polly Ann Bailey Parker and the late Fred Parker, Jr.
To send flowers in memory of Fred "Bunk" Parker III, please visit our Heartfelt Sympathies Store.
At an early age, Fred joined the Glorious Church of the Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith, Inc. He was a faithful member, serving as a deacon. Fred always attended church until his health began to fail. He was a graduate of Onancock High School and worked for Eastern Shore News, R.C. Evans, Dixieland, and Perdue.
Fred enjoyed life, spending time with his family, gardening, fishing, and hunting. He was always there, whenever family and friends needed him the most. He never said no. Fred always had a smile on his face and said, “Sure, no problem.”
The Parker family has lost a link from its chain, but we know that God never makes a mistake. He only wants the best in His vineyard and he has claimed his own. Sleep on dear Fred and take your rest. We love you, but God loved you best.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Marie Hill.
