Solomon Parker, son of the late Isaac and Emma Drummond Parker, was born on March 15, 1932 in Onancock, Virginia. He entered into eternal rest on Friday, March 1, 2019 at his residence in Chesapeake, Virginia, after a lingering illness.

Solomon was reared and educated in Accomack County. He was united in holy matrimony to the late Doris Amelia Parker and they were blessed with one daughter, his four biological children, a stepdaughter, and a stepson. Solomon was employed at Van Kasteren Farms in Tasley, Virginia for many years.
Solomon enjoyed life, spending time with his family, cooking, gardening, watching television and hunting. He was always there whenever family and friends needed him.
Solomon was preceded in death by his parents; wife; three sisters; three brothers; and two sons.
He leaves to cherish loving memories: two daughters, Relissa Parker of Chesapeake, VA and Wendy Parker of Williamtown, NJ; one son, Ronald (Teresa) Parker of Felton, DE; one stepdaughter, Shonda Fisher of Queens, NY; one stepson, Ronald (Lola) Dix of Tasley, VA; two daughters-in-law; sixteen grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren; one brother, David Parker of Salisbury, MD; one brother-in-law, two sisters-in-law; seven nieces; and a host of other relatives and friends
