Faye gave her life to Christ at an early age. She was a faithful member of Christian Stronghold Community Church in Princess Anne, Maryland and she also enjoyed fellowshipping with New Birth Community Church in Exmore, Virginia.
Ma Faye attended Parksley High School in Parksley, Virginia and continued her education at the Eastern Shore Community College in nursing as a GNA (Geriatric Nursing Assistant). She enjoyed using her skills to care for others for over thirty years at various senior living facilities and Peninsula Regional Medical Center. Faye expanded her knowledge by obtaining certifications to administer medications, a duty she did for over fifteen years. She loved to help people, sing with the Stars of Wonder gospel group, spending time with her family, and rolling out dumplings.
In addition to her parents Faye was preceded in death by her sister, Frances Nock.
Left to cherish her memories are: her husband, Charles Teague of Salisbury, MD; three children, Claude Nock of Pocomoke, MD, Shaneatha (Antonio, Sr.) Austin of Princess Anne, MD, and Tomekia Hall of Salisbury, MD; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; two loving brothers, Samuel (Marie) Nock of Philadelphia, PA and Jackie Finney of Wattsville, VA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, close friends, and associates.
