Pauline Davis Henderson was born on December 13, 1949 to the late Samuel H. Davis and Annie W. Davis. She peacefully entered into eternal rest on October 5, 2020 at her residence in Parksley, Virginia.

Pauline was educated in the public schools of Accomack County. She worked in several industries to include: McDonald’s, Accomac Head Start, and Eastern Shore Seafood.
Pauline was a faithful member of Gospel Temple Baptist Church in Keller, Virginia. She was a dedicated member of the Culinary Ministry. Pauline prepared many delectable meals for her church family and guests. She loved to worship the Lord and serve her church.
Pauline enjoyed hosting family gatherings at her home. Her loved ones knew they would dine sufficiently. In her spare time, she would shop with her sister, Barbara. Her presence will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, Pauline was preceded in death by her sisters, Peggy Pettit and Madeline Byrd; brothers, Joseph, Noah, and Woodlyn Davis; son, Tamian Tyler; and an aunt, Florence Fontaine.
Pauline is survived by her husband, Edward L. Henderson of Parksley, VA; two sons, Timothy (Jane) Davis of Painter, VA and Robert Henderson of Portsmouth, VA; two daughters, Linda Sample of Painter, VA and Jamecia Davis of Onancock, VA; three grandchildren, Shawn Davis of Salisbury, MD, Jordon Henderson of Painter, VA, and Kingston Davis of Onancock, VA; foster children, Lashea Ayers of Painter, VA, Lakesha Collins and Johnny Collins, both of New Church, VA; one brother, Amos Davis of Wattville, VA; special cousin, Anna Fontaine of Princess Anne, MD; special friend, Barbara Ames of Parksley, VA; and a host of the nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
